If you would ask me what game closely resembles Assaulter, I would quickly say “Are you blind?” Assaulter very closely resembles the look and feel of the Metal Slug series. The two are very similar in style that I even thought that Assaulter was a sequel of some sort. If you love Metal Slug, or side scrolling shooters for that matter, you may find Assaulter to be worth every minute of your time. If you are not a fan of side-scrolling shooters, this game may convert you into one.
