Review of the Pandora 4.1 App for the MyTouch3

In this article I am reviewing the Pandora 4.1 application for the MyTouch3 android phone. Come and read more to find out about my experiences with the best parts of this app, the parts that will make you crazy and why you might want the pandora app on your mobile phone.

Today I thought I would take the time to review some applications I've been using on my MyTouch3, for those of you whom are considering trying out the apps for yourself. If you have a newer or older phone, please remember that results can vary with different types of phones and mobile devices.

Now, with that part of out the way, let's get to the details!

This app does pretty much everything it says it will. Pandora is a free radio application, that lets you make playlists and listen to randomly selected music according to your tastes. It's simple to use too, which is why so many people like it. You just sign up, enter an artists or song that you enjoy and pandora will take care of the rest.

As I hinted to above, pandora is pretty simple in it's design, though there are definitely some extra features that you can dive into, if you seek more than just a radio for your mobile phone. The app also lets you create a playlist, follow other users and share your music with your favorite social networks. More recently, they also added the ability to purchase tracks that you really like, right from the app itself.

There is really only one thing I have to rant about when it comes to Pandora 4.1, and that is the advertisements! And no, it's not because they are there, I have no problem looking at adds to get the free version of the app. No, my gripe is because the darn exit button that is available on each app, is so small that even the most feminine finger would have a hard time gracefully touching it, which means that you end up clicking on a lot of ads that you had no interest in looking at, many of which will set up automatic billing with your wireless provider. So not cool.

Even with that little issue in the way, overall Pandora is a great application and has been since the first version. You can make it even better by getting the upgraded version, though if you don't mind those pesky adds with little exit buttons, there is no reason you can't enjoy the free tunes that Pandora provides.
